ON AGGREGATE: Champions Without A Home is the saga of the Qarabağ-Ağdam ‘Horsemen' refugee football (soccer) club from post-Soviet Azerbaijan that has not played a ‘Home Game’ since its native city of Agdam was destroyed and occupied during the vicious Karabakh (Qarabağ) War in July 1993.
Despite this trauma, in 2014/15, The Horsemen clawed their way to the soaring heights of the Group Stage in the Europa League, playing against giants such as the Ukrainian Dnipro, the French St Etienne and the legendary Inter-Milan of football-obsessed Italy--before having further glory snatched away by a blatantly bad call in overtime in their last match.
Director Goltz traveled with the Horsemen throughout the 2014/15 season to produce this prize-winning 53-minute documentary film, which is about far more than football/soccer; it is about gritty determination and resilience in the face of loss, and ultimately about conviction.
The full, 53-minute, prize winning film will be available via a PayPal link on this sight in the near future. DVD and BluRay copies are also available for purchase.

Prior to his involvement with Qarabag-Agdam, Goltz knew almost nothing about football/soccer when he took on the challenge of traveling with the QA-Horsemen during the 2014/15 Europa League ‘Groups’ play-offs.
In April 2015, Goltz was inducted into the team as an Honorary Horseman. His jersey number is 02--the license plate of the still-occupied city of Agdam--and he wears it with pride.
